Dear all,
We are glad to announce the OzFink workshop that will take place at Swinburne University May 3 to 5, 2023. https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/HjPHC81V0PTj0BZM5Sney99?domain=ozgrav.org
This workshop aims to connect researchers in Australia working in multi-wavelength and messenger transients and the Fink collaboration. Fink is a Rubin Community broker that will receive within seconds the time-domain events detected by LSST at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory.
A small number of talks will provide a scientific framework, and we will have numerous discussion and tutorial sessions oriented towards individual topics such as connecting multi-messenger and wavelength data, follow-up facilities, and filtered streams.
Abstract submissions will have a deadline of 17 March 2023. There will be no registration fee. Some limited travel support will be available.
We look forward seeing you at the workshop! Any questions please contact us at contact at fink-broker.org<mailto:contact at fink-broker.org>
Sincerely,
The Scientific Organizing Committee
Anais Möller (Swinburne University of Technology, Australia)
Emille Ishida (LPC Clermont-Ferrand, France)
Julien Peloton (IJCLab, France)
Gemma Anderson (ICRAR, Australia)
Chris Lidman (ANU, Australia)
