[ASA] Covid Support and the IDEA Community Fund

Dear Members
    As many will know, there have been a number of positive Covid cases at
the ASM in Hobart (and indeed elsewhere).

    The requirement to isolate may incur extra charge, for accommodation
and/or changes to travel arrangements.

     If these extra costs are a burden, and you have exhausted usual
sources of support (e.g. home institution) then please consider using the
IDEA Community Fund. This is especially true for HDR students and ECRs.

     I hope that the ASA can help in these cases, where assistance is
needed.
