ASA members may be interested in the Sydney Powerhouse Museum's Sydney Science Festival<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/Rta1CWLVXkU59qxD5S6ED8n?domain=sydneyscience.maas.museum> program. It has some astronomical content and, in this Covid era, the program is completely online, live and free, which opens it to the widest possible audience. You may like to promote it to your contacts, especially local schools or other educational links you may have.
It is running from 14–22 of August. Some highlights include:
- Gamilaraay astrophysicist Karlie Noon<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/eEhSCXLW2mUX5KGOXFVYLfp?domain=sydneyscience.maas.museum> will take us light-years away to explore the late winter, August skies through the telescopic eyes of the historic Sydney Observatory.
- Professor Chanda Prescod-Weinstein<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/QzIJCYW8NocL1lgALH9p-_s?domain=sydneyscience.maas.museum> champions everyone's right to know the night sky.
- Dr Norman Swan<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/8bLyCZY1Nqi54gxQ5SyXVrR?domain=sydneyscience.maas.museum> answers your questions and examines how pandemics have changed the course of history.
to name a few.
