Dear all,

ACAMAR - the Australia-ChinA ConsortiuM for Astrophysical Research - are sponsoring an online workshop on fast radio bursts, from 12th-14th October 2021.

All FRB-related topics, including but not limited to:
  • Recent observational results
  • Population studies and FRB cosmology
  • Host galaxies and multiwavelength follow-up
  • Progenitor modelling and radiation mechanisms
  • Hardware, FRB search algorithms, upgrades, and future instruments

will be covered.

ACAMAR Fast Radio Bursts Virtual Workshop: Home. Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are an enigmatic class of extragalactic radio transients currently attracting great scientific interest. ASKAP (Australian Square Kilometer Array Pathfinder) and FAST (Five-hundred-meter Apeture Spherical radio Telescope) are at the forefront of this fast-moving field ...
Please save the date, and note the abstract submission deadline of August 6th. This is a workshop, and we highly encourage contributions on works-in-progress and technical matters that we lend themselves to interesting discussions.
