[ASA] SKA community briefing

Dear ASA members,

With the recent ratification of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) convention by Australia,
we will hold an on-line SKA community briefing on
Wednesday October 21st, from 1pm--2pm AEDT = 10am--11am AWST.

The program is:

David Luchetti (10 mins): Convention ratification & the establishment of the SKA Observatory

Douglas Bock (10 mins): SKA Board update

Sarah Pearce (10 mins): The construction work packages Australia can expect & SKA operations model

Rebecca Wheadon (5 mins): Site entity -- What it does and how it works for all the tenants at site

Ant Schinckel (5 mins): Site Establishment -- Configuration, buildings, Indigenous Land Use Agreement

Steven Tingay (5 mins): Aperture Array Verification System (AAVS)

Karen Lee-Waddell (5 mins): Australian SKA Regional Centre (AusSRC)
