Hi everyone,

Data Central is hiring! We are looking for someone who has an understanding of Python, different types of databases and astronomical data. This is a casual role for around 5 days per week and up to 6 months.

Deadline is 17:00 AEST Wednesday 22 April, 2020.

Reporting to the Senior Systems Research Engineer (Simon O'Toole), you will provide IT and software engineering support for instrument and technology projects. You will work in the small AAO-MQ Data Central team as a software engineer. Data Central is an astronomical eResearch platform and data archive that facilitates cutting-edge science. It provides web-based tools and archive functionality for scientists to explore, collaborate and make new discoveries.
