[ASA] AAO Macquarie services shutdown 24/25 August and 31 Aug/1 Sep

To ASA members,

The following two weekends (24/25 August and 31 Aug/1/Sep) the AAO Macquarie buildings will be shut down due to electrical work being carried out to replace faulty powerpoints.

This means that ALL AAO Macquarie hosted systems will be inaccessible from tomorrow afternoon at about 3pm until Monday morning 9-10am, as the firewall will be shutdown.

This will affect:

  *   External access to AAO systems, including VPN and building access
  *   AAO Jira and Confluence
  *   Data Central logins to external systems (e.g. AAT Visitor Form, SkyMapper user forum)

AAO Slack will not be affected, neither will AAT-based systems (which are now managed by ANU).
