The University of Queensland (UQ) has one continuing full-time teaching and a three year fixed term position open for a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Astrophysics.

UQ has a strong research focus in science, medicine and technology and is ranked 55th in the world in the 2017 Academic Ranking of World Universities. UQ Astrophysics is located in the School of Mathematics and Physics in the Faculty of Science and was rated “well-above international standard”, the highest possible ranking, in all three Australian ERA assessments.

The appointment will be at Academic Level B with total remuneration in the range $107,807 to $128,020 pa (includes salary range of $92,142 to $109,419 pa and employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary) for the Lecturer Position and $132,062 to $152,276 pa (with a salary range of $112,874 to $130,150) for the Senior Lecturer position.
