[ASA] New Editorial Board Chair for PASA

Dear ASA,

I am delighted to report that Melanie Johnston-Hollitt has agreed to be the new Chair of the Editorial Board for PASA. Melanie has been an Associate Editor for PASA during the past 3 years and brings a wealth of experience to the role having published more than 180 papers and performed many leadership roles of relevance to the Australian community, including membership of the MWA and SKA projects.

I would also like to take the opportunity on behalf of the ASA Council to acknowledge Daniel Price for his excellent service as Chair of the Editorial Board during the past 4 years. Under Daniel’s leadership PASA has continued to grow in stature and quality. PASA now sits among the top astronomical journals in the world and is in an outstanding position to continue to enhance this position. Daniel has agreed to remain as a member of the Editorial Board.

Many thanks to Daniel for his contributions to PASA, and to Melanie for taking on this important work for the ASA.
