Science: Because questions need answers

Your social media feed just got a whole lot more interesting with the Australian Academy of Science’s new initiative to connect more people with credible science.

Now, more than ever, we need access to reliable scientific information to inform our decisions and to understand the world around us. By bringing together the very best scientists, the Australian Academy of Science is well positioned to deliver not only trustworthy, but also really interesting science.

Social media is taking over as the way we receive our news, usually on our phones or devices when we have a spare moment. This is why we will use social media to share high quality science videos, articles, infographics and photos. With something for everyone, short and sharp information will be provided as well as links to detailed information for those hungry for more. All content comes with the Academy stamp, rigorously fact checked and reviewed by experts.

Help make science mainstream by following us on Facebook and sharing our content.
