1. The Las Campanas Observatory in Chile is looking for a Telescope 
Engineer to maintain and support the operation of the twin Magellan 6.5m 
telescopes. Position information is available from

2, NRC Herzberg is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join the 
Canada-France-Imaging Survey (CFIS). CFIS is a major astronomical survey 
being undertaken with the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope that will 
obtain 10,000 square degrees of u-band imaging (point source depth 24.5 
at a signal to noise ratio of 5) and 5,000 square degrees of r-band 
imaging (point source depth 24.9). See
