[ASA] Postdoc in Galactic Archaeology / Asteroseismology

Dear colleagues,

We are looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow to work in our
Asteroseismology/Galactic Archaeology group at the University of
Sydney. We seek a highly motivated person with experience in
Galaxy model building, in observational/theoretical asteroseismology,
or in stellar spectroscopy & chemical analysis. The person should have
excellent communication skills, and demonstrated ability to conduct
excellent research and work well in a team.

Our GA/astero group includes Tim Bedding, Joss Bland-Hawthorn,
Gayandhi De Silva, Geraint Lewis, Dan Huber, Simon Murphy,
Sanjib Sharma, and Dennis Stello. We play a leading role in the
GALAH and Kepler galactic archaeology surveys, and are developing
widely used codes for Galactic model building and extracting seismic
parameters.
