PhD scholarship opportunity at Curtin University:
"Large scale searches for astronomical transients using a geographically distributed automated camera system"

An opportunity exists to appoint a PhD student into the above project (more fully described in the attached brief project description).  A PhD scholarship of $30,000 pa is available, as is a tuition fee waiver and a $5,000 pa project travel/research budget for the student.  The scholarship is available now and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The project will be supervised by Profs Phil Bland and Steven Tingay at Curtin University, based at the Bentley campus in Perth.  A relocation allowance is available.
