AAO Instrument Scientist
The Australian Astronomical Observatory seeks to appoint a
new Instrument Scientist. This person will participate in
the development of new technologies and new concepts for
astronomical instrumentation on current telescopes such as
the AAT and Gemini, and future telescopes such as the
Giant Magellan Telescope. They will also play a technology
support role in the AAO's ongoing instrumentation
projects. Their time will be split between technology
R&D and instrument development support.
