Postgraduate Scholarship in Stuttering Treatment

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with an honours degree in speech-language pathology
to be eligible to enrol in a either a Masters by research or PhD; the
project involves internet treatment of preschoolers who stutter;
applicants should have clinical experience with paediatric stuttering
clients and research experience; $25,000pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Numerical Heat Transfer

A scholarship is available and will be provided to support an on-going
research project in numerical heat transfer; the research involves the
use of ray-tracing techniques within a Monte Carlo simulation framework;
applicants should have an Honours degree in Science or Engineering;
$10,000pa; one year with possibility of extension.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Chemical
Engineering/Nanotechnology

An Australian Postgraduate Award Industry (APAI) scholarship is
available on a full-time basis for a research project leading to a PhD;
the project is to prepare carbon nanotubes and then assemble them to
form novel devices for high efficiency energy delivery; applicants
should have an Honours 1 degree in Chemical Engineering or related
discipline; international students can apply however tuition fess
payable by international students are not covered; 

$26,669pa; up to three years.

PhD scholarship in Radiation Therapy: Advanced Practitioner

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in
Radiation Therapy; the research will cover broad areas of clinical,
technological and patient support research related to radiation therapy;
applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents
or New Zealand citizens; applicants should have a good undergraduate
degree in radiation therapy, evidence of a further higher degree in a
relevant field and at least 6 years clinical experience; $34,000pa; up
to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Neuroscience

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a Master of
Philosophy or PhD; the project is to investigate the phenomenon of
freezing of gait in Parkinson's disease; applicants should have a good
honours degree (or equivalent) in science or medicine; applicants must
be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand
citizens; $35,000pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Human Nutrition

A full time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in
Nutrition; the project is available to investigate the potential of an
insulin index of foods to estimate insulin dose in individuals with type
1 diabetes; applicants should have a good honours degree in nutrition;
applicants must be Australian citizens or Australian permanent
residents; $22,500pa; one year.

ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems (CAS) Scholarships in
Field Robotics

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems (CAS) invites
applications from students interested in PhD research in the area of
autonomous systems, including perception, control, learning and systems
to apply for a CAS Scholarship; applicants should have a first class
honours degree in aeronautical/aerospace engineering or similar; $27,222
pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Viral Proteomics

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in
viral proteomics; the project is to investigate viral/host cell
protein-protein interactions important for the replication of herpes
simplex virus; applicants should have an Honours 1 degree in Science;
applicants can be local or international students, however this
scholarship does not cover any tuition fees payable by international
students; $22,500pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Cancer Cell Biology

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to investigate aspects of powerful new molecular
mechanisms targeted by novel cancer therapies; the project combines the
expertise of 3 research teams in the Bosch Institute Prostate Cancer
Focus Group; applicants should have a first class honours degree in a
related biological science; $22,500pa; up to three years.
