The following event will be of great interest to many:
‘Current Australian Research on the Ancient Greek Language’
CCANESA, University of Sydney
2–5pm, Friday 25 August
This hybrid event is convened by Trevor Evans (Department of History and Archaeology, Macquarie University) in collaboration with colleagues from the Discipline of Classics and Ancient History, University of Sydney, and is sponsored by the Macquarie Ancient Languages School.
Speakers are Trevor Evans, Emmanuel Roumanis, Mark Matic, John Lee, and Samuel Wessels. Topics include a general reflection on the state of the field and its future viability, and studies examining Septuagint language, documentary evidence, and Atticism.
