Dear Friends of Critical Antiquities!

Tristan and I are thrilled to announce the return of the Critical Antiquities Workshop for 2022. Please see attached the new schedule for March-June 2022 and mark in your calendars events that are of interest to you. We will hear the latest work from Anthony Hooper, Victoria Wohl, Giulia Sissa, and Demetra Kasimis. The first event will be on March 23/24 with the wonderful Anthony Hooper presenting his paper, ‘Erotic Androgyny and the Priority of the Feminine in Plato’s Symposium.’

Two other announcements of interest to CAN affiliates. First, you may not know that the recordings from almost all of the workshops to date are up on our YouTube channel. If you missed a workshop and still want to see it, you will likely find it here: https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/FipgC1WLPxcMP1BXNHL2v86?domain=youtube.com<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/FipgC1WLPxcMP1BXNHL2v86?domain=youtube.com> Please subscribe to the channel if you want to receive notifications when new recordings are uploaded. Alternatively, you can follow us on Twitter<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/HNoUC2xMQzipBvZQzT1ErYh?domain=twitter.com> where we usually announce new content on the channel and occasionally share other happenings related to critical antiquities.

Second, we have a website under development at criticalantiquities.org<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/n4Q1C3QNPBipyw9vzT24GjG?domain=criticalantiquities.org>. In the first stage of construction, which will be complete in a few weeks, it will display the flyers for the Critical Antiquities Workshop. In the second stage, which will take somewhat longer, we hope to be able to represent more of the sweep of CAN affiliates and their academic activities.

We look forward to seeing you at the workshop and sharing another productive year of work in critical antiquities.

All best,
Tristan and Ben
