Postgraduate Scholarship in Vulnerability and Resilience to Climate Change
An MPhil scholarship is open for a research project on problems of vulnerability and resilience to floods in urban settings; The successful candidate must have an engineering bachelor's degree related to water resources or equivalent, and at least five years relevant experience; Applicants must be Australian residents; $26,822per annum for one year.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Biospectroscopy and Chemometrics
An ARC-funded full or top-up postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate with a good honours degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a related field to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in chemistry; applicants should have experience in advanced biospectroscopy techniques, particularly Near IR, FTIR and Raman spectroscopies, and cutting-edge knowledge in advanced chemometrics; valued at either the APA rate $26,288pa (full rate) or $7,000pa (top up rate for applicants who have a full rate award); for up to 2 years in the first instance renewable for up to 3.5 years subject to funding.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Interstitial Lung Disease
A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate who has completed respiratory medicine advanced training to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in pulmonary fibrosis; applicants should have completed advanced training in respiratory medicine, and a particular interest in interstitial lung disease; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $25,849pa for one year.

PhD Scholarship- Evaluation of the cost effectiveness of orientation and mobility services for people with blindness and low vision
This PhD project will involve development of economic models to access the cost-effectiveness of these programs; the student will be affiliated with The George Institute for Global Health at the University of Sydney and will work closely with epidemiologists and skied health economists at The George Institute and orientation and mobility specialists at Guide Dogs NSW/ACT; valued at the APA rate ($26,288pa in 2016), further supported by a $10,000 per annum top-up; up to 3 years.

The Peter Coates Postgraduate Scholarship in Enthopharmacology
A postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitable candidate with a good honours degree in a health sciences related field to commence PhD studies in 2016. The project will be to investigate the contribution of ethnic differences to inter-individual variation in drug response. Applicants may be domestic or international students. Tuition fees payable by international students are not covered by this scholarship. Funding is valued at $25,000pa, up to three years.

BEAM - Master Joint Mobility Project
The EU-Australia cooperation in Biomedical Engineering at Master Level (BEAM) is holding a 1st call for applications for international mobility: the call is open to Australian citizens and residents regularly enrolled in Master program or will enroll to this program through the University of Sydney; the program supports 1 semester (5 months) mobility to perform study and research at one of three European partner Universities; the grant covers subsistence, travel, and tuition fee exemption at host institutions.
