Research Scholarships

 

Scholarship in Fluid Engineering

A full-time scholarship is available in for a candidate with a good
honours or Master degree in science or engineering; the project focuses
on buoyancy induced natural ventilation, and the purpose is to examine
the effectiveness of various natural ventilation designs for providing
thermal comfort to occupants; applicants must be Australian citizens,
Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $10,00pa; up to
three years.

Closing Date:  6 August 2010

 

Scholarship in Balkan Studies (Kosovo)

A full-time scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
with a good honours degree in literary and/or historical studies; the
project is to investigate the historical, cultural and political history
of Kosovo and of Albanian Kosovar identity; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand
citizens; $25,427pa; up to three years.

Closing Date: 31 December 2010

 

Scholarship at the Brain & Mind Research Institute

A full-time scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
with a good honours degree in psychology or biomedical science (or
equivalent); the project is to investigate a biomarker for psychosis,
called mismatch negativity, in patients with affective psychotic
disorders; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent
residents or New Zealand citizens; $22,500pa; up to three years.

Australian Stuttering Research Centre Scholarship in Stuttering
(Treatment/Psychology)

A full-time scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
with an honours degree in speech-language pathology; the project area is
attention, cognitive functioning and memory in adults who stutter;
clinical and research experience generally would be an advantage to
applicants; $27,500pa; up to three years.

Australian Stuttering Research Centre Scholarship in Stuttering
(Psychology)

A full-time scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
with an honours degree in psychology; the project involves the
development of an on-line CBT program for adolescents who stutter;
clinical and research experience generally would be an advantage to
applicants; $27,500pa; up to three years.

Australian Stuttering Research Centre Scholarship in Stuttering
(Stuttering Treatment)

A full-time scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate
with an honours degree in speech-language pathology; the project
involves the development of an on-line speech restructuring treatment
for adults who stutter; clinical and research experience generally would
be an advantage to applicants; $27,500pa; up to three years.
