Postgraduate Scholarship in Organic Chemistry
For a suitably qualified candidate with a H1 degree in chemistry to
undertake research studies leading to a PhD in organic chemistry; the
project is to investigate the synthesis and biological evaluation of a
range of cancer-associated glycopeptides and glycoproteins; $20,007 pa;
up to 3 years; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian
permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Information Systems PhD Scholarship in strategic technology-enabled
business innovation
For PhD studies in strategic management of technology-enabled business
innovation in the Financial Services sector; this project aims to
advance understanding of technology-enabled innovation management in the
adoption and implementation of disruptive technologies; applicants
should have a relevant H1 degree or a Masters by Research degree or
equivalent; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent
residents or NZ citizens; $25,118 pa; up to 3 years.

PhD Scholarship in Cervical Cancer Prevention
For a PhD in Cervical Cancer Prevention, the project is "A randomised
trial of a web-based toolkit for applying evidence in the general
practice cervical cancer prevention visit"; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or NZ citizens and
must hold an appropriate degree at least a H2 degree from a recognised
university; $ 20,007 pa; up to 1 year in the first instance, with the
possibility of renewals.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Computational Nano-Technology
For a suitably qualified candidate with a good hons degree in science or
engineering to undertake research studies leading to a PhD; this project
is to investigate the flow and lubrication problems at nano-scales with
applications in nano-technology; $25,000 pa; up to 3 years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Pharmacist Inter-professional Communication
For a suitably qualified candidate with a good hons degree in pharmacy
to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in pharmacy practice; the
project is to investigate the nature, contexts, barriers and
facilitators of inter-professional collaboration critical to
sustainability of new pharmacy cognitive services for chronic care and
to develop a valid and reliable measure of inter-professional
collaboration; $15,000 pa; up to 1 year; applicants must be Australian
citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Arrow- Hawkesbury Canoe Classic Scholarship
The Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation is offering up to 2
supplementary scholarships for students commencing an (APA) or
comparable competitive postgraduate scholarship in 2008; this biomedical
research scholarship will be in the area of leukaemia and
transplantation; valued at up to the difference between the 2008 APA
rate and the 2008 NHMRC base Medical rate; up to 3 years.

Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia Postgraduate Scholarships
For graduates to undertake full time study for a higher degree (PhD or
Masters by Research) in an Australian university or institution; the
scholarships on offer are the NHMRC/MSRA Betty Cuthbert Scholarship and
MSRA Postgraduate Scholarships; stipend is based on NHMRC medical or
biomedical graduate rate; applicants must be Australian citizens or have
been granted permanent residence status and have lived in Australia
continuously for 12 months before submitting the application.

Overseas Scholarships
Landerer Arts UK Scholarship
To support an outstanding postgraduate student in the arts and creative
industries to study in the UK; $30,000 to contribute to the costs of
tuition fees and stipend for a Masters course in the arts and design
lasting up to 12 months' duration at any UK institution; 1 scholarship
will be awarded in 2008.
