Research Scholarships

 

PhD Scholarship in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Sciences

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with a first class honours degree or equivalent in
science to undertake PhD studies in the area of glial vascular changes
in aging; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of
Australia; $20,000pa; for one year.

Aging Protein PhD Scholarship

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with honours 1 or 2A degree or equivalent in
chemistry or biochemistry to undertake PhD studies in the area of
posttranslational modification of human proteins; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand
citizens; $23,000pa; up to three years.

Leukaemia Foundation PhD Scholarships 2009

The Leukaemia Foundation provides support for the educational and
professional development of researchers and other professionals
undertaking a full-time PhD; applicants must be Australian citizens or
permanent residents or New Zealand citizens holding a Special Category
Visa; up to $40,000pa; up to three years. 

Closing Date: 19 September 2008
