RESEARCH:  Healthcare Services for Older People, Materials Chemistry,
Influenza Research, Pharmacy Management

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Healthcare Services for Older People

For suitably qualified candidates with an hons degree, or equivalent, in
health related discipline to undertake research studies leading to a
PhD; the project is to investigate the effectiveness of transition care
services for older people; $22,000 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

ANSTO Postgraduate Scholarship in Materials Chemistry - Synthesis,
Structure and Dynamics of Solid-state Ionic Conductors

For a candidate holding an H1 or 2A degree in chemistry, physics, or
engineering (or equivalent post graduate qualifications), with a strong
interest in materials, leading to the award of a PhD in chemistry;
$20,007 pa; up to 3 years; the project concerns solid-state ionic
conducting materials with possible applications in fuel cells,
lithium-ion batteries etc; applicants must be Australian citizens,
Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Postgraduate Scholarships in Influenza Research

For PhD research to advance proteomics surveillance of the influenza
virus and anti-viral drug screening; the scholarship is open to
Australian citizens and permanent residents; candidates should hold a H1
or high 2A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline; $20,007 pa;
up to 3 years.

Pharmacy Management PhD Scholarship

2 scholarships are on offer for suitable applicants to commence their
full time PhD studies in the field of Pharmacy Management; $20,007 pa;
up to 3 years; applicants must be an Australian citizen, Australian
permanent resident or NZ citizen; applicants must hold a Bachelor's
degree with 1st Class Hons or a Masters by Research degree; possible
research projects in the area of Pharmacy Management include: service
quality, strategic management, performance measurement, human resources,
retail marketing, organisation behaviour, small business management,
automated dispensing technology, barrier to entry.
