REMINDER

 

Postgraduate Studies in the US, Canada, & UK

The Research Office will be hosting an information session for students
who are interested in doing postgraduate studies in the US, Canada, and
UK.  The session will run from 11am - 1pm this Wednesday, 8 August, in
Carslaw Lecture Theatre 173.  Interested students should refer to the

OVERSEAS:  Harvard

 

Research Scholarships

 

Postgraduate Research Scholarship (Stuttering Treatment)

For a suitably qualified candidate with an hons degree in
speech-language pathology eligible to enrol in a PhD, in some cases
students without an hons degree may be eligible to apply; the project
involves investigating treatment outcomes using two different service
delivery models of the Lidcombe Program; $25,000 pa; up to 3 years.

Closing Date:  15 August 2007

 

Kidney Health Australia Biomedical Research Scholarships

For PhD or MD and Masters by research; to undertake research into the
causes, prevention and treatment of disorders of the kidneys and urinary
tract; $28,000 - $33,000 pa; up to 2 years for a Masters by Research, 3
years for a PhD degree; preference will be given to Australian
applicants enrolled in Australian universities.  

Closing Date: 30 August 2007

 

Overseas Scholarships

 

Robert Gordon Menzies Scholarship to Harvard

The Menzies Scholarship grants 1 annual award to a talented Australian
who has gained admission to a Harvard graduate school; ideal candidates
for the Scholarship are Australians whose primary objective, after
completing their studies at Harvard, is to make a significant
contribution to this country's development; valued at up to US$50,000.

Closing Date:  31 January 2008
