PhD Scholarship in Processing Biomaterials for Drug Delivery or Implant

A scholarship is available for candidates with a good Honours degree or equivalent in science and engineering to undertake research studies leading to a PhD; applicants should have a particular interest in the interface between polymer chemistry and biotechnology and be motivated to explore emerging fields of biomaterials; $20,000 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must be an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Cancer Cell Biology

A scholarship is available for a candidate with a good honours degree in science or equivalent qualification to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in the Faculty of Medicine; the project is to investigate biomolecular pathways in melanoma development and progression; applicants should have a particular interest and expertise in relevant techniques such as tissue culture, molecular biology and immuno-staining; $23,731 pa; up to 3 years.

Industrial Design Studentships

Up to 6 studentships are offered for graduates with a good grounding in engineering or science who wish to develop their capabilities in industrial design; must be British nationals, resident in UK intending to make a career in British Industry with a good first degree in engineering or science; applicants must have obtained admission to a suitable postgraduate course in UK or overseas.

Mobilité internationale Aires Culturelles 

Provides funding for short term visits to Australia (3-12 weeks) for PhD students studying science in France.
