Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Soil Inference System

Available for a full-time research project leading to a PhD ; the project is
to address the confronting issues of degradation and long-term
sustainability of the Australian environment; applicants should have Hons 1
or 2A degree in soil science and  must be Australian citizens, Australian
permanent residents or NZ citizens; $23,886pa; 3 years.

Huygens Scholarships Programme 2005-2006

Available for students from an eligible country to study 3-10 months at a
Dutch uni or hogeschool (uni of professional education) or at one of the
eligible research institutes in the Netherlands; applicants should have a
bachelor's degree or its equivalent before 1/9/05; have graduated no longer
than 2 years ago, or be working on a PhD in their own country; have not
spent more than 1 year already studying at a Dutch higher education
institution as of 1/9/05; skilled in speaking and writing the language in
which the course is taught; < 35 years old at the start of the study;
Euro702/m, standard travel costs, statutory tuition fee and medical
insurance.
