Cité Internationale des Arts
For use of the Power Institutes studio in the Cité Internationale des
Arts, Paris; open to 3 categories; Category A: Artists/Craftspeople -
$7,500 for 6 months; Category B: Art Critics, Art Writers, Art Curators,
Art Historians, Art Administrators - $3,750 for 3 months; Category C: Staff
of USYD or MCA; or currently enrolled postgraduate research students of
USYD - $3,500 for 3 months.

Work and Organisational Studies; NHMRC Scholarships: Biomedical (Dora
Lush), Medical/Dental, Public Health, Primary Health Care, Pharmacy,
Indigenous Health
Category: Research Scholarships
Start-up PhD scholarships in Work & Organisational Studies
Open to full and part-time candidates who are enrolled in the PhD program
in the school in 2004; applicants should have or expect to obtain a good
Hons degree in any of these fields: industrial relations; human resource
management, management, and organisational studies; 1 year @$5,000 pa to
assist with research expenses; holders of current postgraduate research
scholarships providing a stipend will not be eligible to apply

NHMRC Scholarships Open to Australian citizens or Australian permanent
residents who are currently residing in Australia (NZ citizens do not need
to be residents in Australian at the time of application); candidates must
enrol for a full-time research degree; all NHMRC Scholarships are for one
year but renewable to three years subject to satisfactory progress; $18,484
pa (standard), $23,853 pa (for nursing or allied health professionals) or
$27,489 pa (medical/dental graduates who are registered to practise within
Australia). 6 types of scholarships are now open for applications:
1. NHMRC Biomedical (Dora Lush) Postgraduate Scholarships
Open to graduates with a science or health related Hons degree (or
equivalent), unregistered medical or dental graduates from overseas;
students enrolled in a graduate medical program combined with a PhD, and
Allied Health Professionals with an Hons degree or equivalent.
2. NHMRC Medical/Dental Postgraduate Research Scholarship
Open to medical or dental graduates registered to practice within
Australia, or medical or dental graduates from overseas who are registered
to practice in Australia.
3. NHMRC Public Health Postgraduate Scholarships
Open to graduates in an area applicable in public health research at time
of submission of the application, or graduates in area applicable to public
health who are from overseas.
4. NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarships for Primary Health Care Research
Open to medical or dental graduates currently registered to practice within
Australia, or who have already completed a health related degree (or
equivalent) at the time of submission; or health related graduates from
overseas.
5. NHMRC Pharmacy Guild Postgraduate Scholarships
Up to 5 Australian-based scholarships in the area of pharmacy practice are
available; the successful applicant will have a commitment to, and a track
record in pharmacy, or related, health services research, and will not
accept any research funds, consultancies or sponsorship from the tobacco
industry or person connected with the tobacco industry.
5. NHMRC Training Scholarships for Indigenous Health Research
Open to Australian citizens or permanent residents enrolling in a diploma,
certificate, undergraduate or postgraduate degree at a fully accredited
institution; for research training or training leading to research in areas
of particular relevance to indigenous Australians.
