Faculty of Rural Management (FRM) Agri-Management Research Scholarship
Available with Faculty of Rural Management; $15,000 (full-time); 2 years 
for Masters and 3 years for PhD; distance education or on-campus projects 
may be supported in any area relevant to the Faculty.

The Anthony Rothe Scholarship
Open to students eligible to enrol in a full-time PhD program in a 
University, or affiliated Public Hospital or Public benevolent Institution 
in NSW; the research must be related to the causes, prevention, treatment 
or cure of leukaemic and allied blood disorders; $28,000 pa; max. 3 years; 
$5,000 pa for costs associated directly with the scholar’s studies, 
including an allowance for travel by the scholar to attend scientific 
meetings.

by 08/05 and who intend to be candidates for a PhD at Cambridge; value will 
be determined after considering a successful candidate’s income from other 
Studentships or similar sources; sum paid in 03/04 was £7,596.

Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) - Bursaries for Student Travel 
Conference Support Awards
Open to currently enrolled in PhD or Masters (incl. research component) 
students in the field of systematics or taxonomy to travel to a national or 
international conference; applicants must be enrolled in Australian 
institutions and relevant to the Aims and Objectives of the ABRS; the 
student must show that a poster or oral paper presentation has been 
accepted by the organiser of the conference; max $1000 for an international 
conference and $500 for travel within Australia.
