Postgraduate Scholarship in Advanced Modelling in Polymerisation
Open to candidates to be initially enrolled in a Masters degree program in 
Chemical Engineering with a possible upgrade to PhD; applicants should have 
an honours degree in Engineering; value similar to APA + supplementation 
(total up to $30,000 pa).

Postgraduate Scholarship in Organic Chemistry
Open to candidates with 1st Class or 2nd Class Division 1 Honours; $18,009 
pa; may be renewed for up to 3 years; max. $5,000 relocation expenses are 
available to students outside the Sydney area who move to Sydney to take up 
the position; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Australian Postgraduate Award Industry (APAI) in Energy Efficient Glazing
Open to applicant with a Honours 1 or 2A degree in Physics, Chemistry or 
Materials Science/Engineering to undertake full-time studies leading to the 
award of a PhD; 3 years @ $23,294 pa; applicants must be Australian 
citizens or permanent residents who have lived continuously in Australia 
for the last 12 months.

Australian Postgraduate Award Industry (APAI) in Process Intensification 
for Distributed Chemical Manufacturing
2 scholarships are available for outstanding applicants wishing to 
undertake 3-year full-time postgraduate research in Chemical Engineering 
leading to a PhD; applicants must have a degree in Chemical or Mechanical 
Engineering or in Physical Chemistry, with Honours 1 or Honours 2 (Division 
I), or equivalent experience; enthusiasm, excellent written and oral 
communication skills and ability to work in an international team 
environment that includes industry personnel will be highly valued; up to 
$30,000 pa for 3 years; the successful applicants will be expected commence 
their studies in the first quarter of 2003; applicants must be Australian 
citizens or permanent residents who have lived continuously in Australia in 
the 12 months up to December 20th 2002.

Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Chemical Process Synthesis
Available for full-time postgraduate research in Chemical Engineering 
leading to a Master of Engineering (Research) or to a PhD; applicants must 
have a recent degree in Chemical Engineering with Honours 1 or Honours 2 
(Division I) or equivalent, and must be available to commence their studies 
in the first quarter of 2003; enthusiasm, excellent written and oral 
communication skills and ability to work in an international team 
environment will be highly valued; $23,294 pa; 12 months for Masters by 
research, 36 months for PhD, in either case may be extended by up to 6 
months in exceptional circumstances.
