Who: Professor Yong Huang, Fudan Distinguished Chair Professor at the School of Philosophy of Fudan University. Prior to his coming to Fudan University, he was a professor of philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2013-2025) and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (1996-2013). With training in both Western and Chinese philosophical traditions, his research focus has been on moral (both ethical and political) issues from a comparative perspective. He is the founding editor-in-chief of Dao: A Journal of Comparative philosophy, the most prominent journal in English in non-Western philosophy.
