Dear colleagues,

I am seeking to hire a Research Assistant for the seed project "Articulating an Indigenous-led relational framework for climate change mitigation through bioengineering." This is an interdisciplinary project combining philosophy, Indigenous science and methodologies, and legal theory, with the aim of establishing the foundation for a relational methodology framework for bioengineering for climate change mitigation. The project is co-led by Dr kate harriden (Wiradyuri scientist, Monash), Dr Jacinta Sassine (philosopher and legal scholar, WSU) and myself.

The RA is expected to conduct a relational literature review on the research topic, with potential other minor editorial tasks (e.g. help with data analysis after literature review). We can offer a 12-week casual contract for approx. 7 hours of work per week (up to 85 hours total). The role is classified at HEW Level 5, Step 3, with an hourly rate of $63.11. As this role is tied to specific project funding timelines, we are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start.

This role is particularly suited to Indigenous applicants and/or those with prior experience working alongside Indigenous scholars and communities. Preference will be given to candidates who meet these criteria.

Those interested are invited to send an EOI outlining their research experience in relation to this role to me at D.Fulvi at westernsydney.edu.au<mailto:D.Fulvi at westernsydney.edu.au> by cob Friday 12 June. Please direct any questions to me as well: I am happy to share a more detailed project description with interested people.

Thanks in advance to those who will respond.
Cheers,
Daniele Fulvi
