The series explores a range of topics and emerging conversations in South Asian philosophy as practised and discussed both in Australia and by philosophers working in or originating from the region. It is aimed at both philosophers and a wider general audience.

Abstract

In the final episode of this series, Bhanuraj Kashyap (Macquarie University) speaks with Dr Supriya Subramani (University of Sydney) and Dr Swati Arora (IIM Indore) about caste, ‘everyday indignities’, and Dalit feminism. He also chats with Dr Samiksha Goyal (Simon Fraser University) about Gandhian philosophy and how to understand satyagraha. This episode also explores Swati and Samiksha’s experiences as philosophy PhD students at Australian universities and their stories of the Australian academic scene.
