[SydPhil] 2025 AAP Conference - early bird registration closing & Postgrad prize shortlist

First held in 1923, this year's AAP Conference will be held in person in
Brisbane, Queensland, hosted by the Department of Philosophy at the
University of Queensland, from *Sunday 6 to Thursday 10 July* inclusive. A
remote presentation stream is offered as part of the program.
The 2025 conference will include the *Winter School*

undergraduates studying philosophy on Sunday 6 July, a 2 day program
for *Philosophy
in School Teachers* Sunday 6-Monday 7 July and an optional post conference
stay on *Minjerribah* (North Stradbroke island) *Friday 11 - Sunday 13 July*

A public panel, *Philosophy in the Diaspora*, will take place on Monday 7
July.
Keynote speakers:
- Mary Graham (University of Queensland)
- John Heil (Washington University in St. Louis)
- Michelle Liu (Monash University)
- Catherine Mills (Monash University)
- Ellie Ripley (Monash University)
- Adrian Walsh (University of New England)
- Stephen Hetherington (University of New South Wales) will deliver the
Presidential Address
Special Conference Streams:
- History of Philosophy, including Australasian Seminar in Early Modern
Philosophy (ASEMP)
- Philosophy in the Diaspora
- Enabling Diverse Knowledges
- Formal Methods in Philosophy
Key dates:
Early Bird Registration (in person): *13 June 2025*
Early Bird Registration (remote): *20 June 2025*
Remote attendance includes streaming of the Plenary sessions (Presidential
Address and 6 keynotes), plus contributed paper sessions Monday-Thursday in
two of the parallel sessions. These contributed paper sessions will include
a mix of live streamed presentations by remote and in person attendees.
