[SydPhil] Annette Baier Prize 2025 shortlist

In recognition of the impact of the work of Annette Baier, the AAP offers
an annual monetary prize for an outstanding philosophical paper or book
chapter published by an Australasian woman during the previous calendar
year.

The shortlist for 2025 is:

*Stephanie Collins*, Monash University: ‘States’ Culpability through Time'
*Emily Hulme*, University of Sydney: ‘Plato’s Argument for the Inclusion of
Women'
*Madeleine Shield*, University of Queensland, ‘Shame and the Question of
Self-Respect’
*Felicity Joseph*, University of New England: ‘The Degendering of Virtue:
Beauvoir and Wollstonecraft on Virtue and Equality’
*Kristie Miller*, University of Sydney: ‘Personal Identity Noncognitivism’
*Sandra Leonie Field*, Monash University: ‘Marx, Spinoza, and “True
Democracy”’

The winner of the Prize will be announced by the AAP Patron - The
Honourable Pamela Tate AM KC - at the 2025 AAP Conference Welcome event
preceding the Presidential Address by Stephen Hetherington on Sunday 6th
July, commencing at 4.00pm at the University of Queensland.
