*Book Launch*: *Philosophical Fragments as the Poetry of Thinking:
Romanticism and the Living Present by Luke Fischer*
Friday 7th March starting 6:00 pm for 6:30 pm
*LAUNCHED BY JAKOB ZIGURAS*
*IN CONVERSATION WITH DALIA NASSAR*
Innovatively combining philosophical inquiry and aphoristic writing
(fragments), *Philosophical Fragments as the Poetry of Thinking* presents a
bold new interpretation of philosophical poetics.
Fragments condense insights into few words, employ striking metaphors that
draw intuitive connections, and reveal philosophy in process. In a
collection of original fragments and an exploratory essay, Luke Fischer
sheds light on the relation between poetry and philosophy, aesthetics and
society, art and the environment, and discusses the fragmentary
philosophies of Novalis, F. Schlegel, Nietzsche and Heraclitus.
