The African Centre of Epistemology & Philosophy of Science<https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/lkCrCk81N9tk8vRjmI2AZQL?domain=uj.ac.za> (ACEPS), at the University of Johannesburg, invites applications for a stipendiary postdoctoral fellowship (ZAR 20 000 per month tax free) starting 1 January 2024 (negotiable), renewable for up to 3 years. ACEPS has vacancies for up to 4 Philosophy postdoctoral fellowship positions.

The candidate will:

  *   have obtained their PhD in Philosophy
  *   have an excellent academic and publishing record
  *   work in any of the centre’s core areas­—epistemic decolonisation, epistemic oppression, African epistemology or philosophy of science, and the epistemology of the internet/ AI,
  *   be expected to be present in person at ACEPS and actively contribute to its vibrant life
  *   be expected to publish 2 journal articles a year

Teaching and supervising are optional.
