Dear Colleagues,
The Australian Hegel Society is delighted to invite all interested parties
to attend the first talk in our 'Hegel and Classical German Philosophy'
series on the 2nd of December at 17:00 Sydney time (AEDT). Dr. Gregory S.
Moss (Chinese University of Hong Kong) will be joining us via Zoom to
present his new research on Schelling in a talk entitled 'The Contingency
of Existence in Schelling's Positive Philosophy'. He will talk for roughly
45 minutes and then stick around for questions and discussion for as long
as time permits.
Dr. Moss is a brilliant scholar not just of Hegel but also of Schelling and
Christian Neoplatonism. His work on Hegel has been extremely well
received by the Hegel community and his *Hegel's Foundation Free
Metaphysics* received the prestigious HegelPD prize earlier this year. We
are very fortunate to have such a wonderful scholar joining us to kick
the series off.
If you are interested, please email the society for the zoom link and to
receive the readings: theaustralianhegelsociety at gmail.com
I hope this email finds you well and that this talk will be of great
interest to you all. Please share it widely (poster attached) with
colleagues and those who you believe may be interested.
Warm regards,
Daniel Badenhorst on behalf of the Australian Hegel Society
