[SydPhil] 2019 AAP Conference Announcement - UOW

UOW Philosophy is very pleased to be hosting the 2019 conference of the
Australasian Association of Philosophy, July 7th-11th, 2019.
Keynote speakers will be Elizabeth Harman (Princeton), Edouard Machery
(Pittsburgh), Fiona Macpherson (Glasgow) and Alison Wylie (UBC). Alison
Wylie will also deliver the 2019 Alan Saunders Lecture on the evening of
Tuesday, July 9th. Karen Green (Melbourne) will give the AAP Presidential
Address at the start of the conference on Sunday, when there will also be a
reception for all delegates.
In addition to the usual range of streams, the following special streams
will be offered:
Assessing Practical Ethics
Bayesian Cognitive Science - Open Challenges and Future Directions
Combatting Gender Inequalities in Philosophy
Minimal Cognition
Model-Based Explanation
Multicultural Philosophy
Shared Intentionality and Social Minds
Registration and abstract submission will open Friday, Feb 1st 2019,
through the conference website: aap.org.au
