Reminder of talk today

Title: Rush Rhees on science and mathematics
Abstract: Rush Rhees (1905-1989) is mostly known as one of Ludwig Wittgenstein's literary executors, if one has heard of him at all. But he was also a significant philosopher in his own right, and often emphasises what one could call the existential, or even mystical, aspect of philosophy. In this talk, I will discuss some of his views on science and mathematics. I will use material from the unpublished correspondence between Rhees and Georg Henrik von Wright, kept at The von Wright and Wittgenstein Archives at The University of Helsinki, Finland.
