[SydPhil] call for interest

[The Australian Hegel Society]

Dear all,

We are a group of Hegelian scholars working in Sydney, and are in the early
stages of founding an Australian Hegelian society. The aim of this society
would be to support interest in and research on Hegelian philosophy in
Australia at all levels of expertise, from undergraduates to professional
philosophers. The society will work towards this goal by organising and
publicising events such an annual conference, reading groups and seminars,
providing a forum for discussion of Hegel and his work, and also by editing
a society bulletin.  At this stage we are in the process of drafting a
constitution and gauging interest across the Australian philosophy
community. Our current plan is to hold a meeting within the next month
where we can discuss how best to proceed from here. If you would like to be
