invites you to attend
an evening seminar:

"Business Law and Customary Law in a Changing Myanmar"

by

Professor Nu Nu Yi and Professor Tin Htay Ei


Professor Nu Nu Yi is Pro-Rector and former Head of Department of Law, University of Mandalay. Her expertise lies in intellectual property, business law and customary law. Her doctorate was in the intersection of intellectual property and customary law.

Professor Tin Htay Ei was until 2014 Head of Department of Law, University of Mandalay, and is currently Professor in the Department of Law at the Yangon University of Distance Education. Her primary areas of expertise are international environmental law and customary law. Her doctorate was in the field of environmental law.

Background: UNSW and the University of Mandalay signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2014 committing to explore opportunities for collaboration in the fields of teaching and research in law. Professors Nu Nu Yi and Tin Htay Ei are visiting  us to find out more about our teaching methods and research. They will be here from March 2 - 5. They will be based in Room 220 during that time. Please feel free to drop by."
