GIOVANNA COLOMBETTI (Exeter) - ‘Extending the ‘extended mind’ to the domain of affect’



Prof Giovanna Colombetti  is a philosopher of cognitive science with her primary research area in affectivity. Her work draws on phenomenology, analytic philosophy, as well as theoretical and experimental work in psychology and neuroscience. Since 2010 she has been the Principal Investigator of a 5-year project funded by the European Research Council (ERC), titled “Emoting the Embodied Mind” (EMOTER).
