The economic frameworks that attempt (1) to balance profit maximization with
maximum consumer satisfaction and (2) to assume an intellectual and ethical
ascendancy over the human frailties in socially engineered markets have
resulted in social injustices manifested in miserable involuntary poverty,
gross inequality, and the stifling of the personal pursuit of excellence.
This discussion discusses a more basic foundation for the purpose of
political economy -- the primacy of rights & their equality as the basis for
limitations.
