    *THE END OF THE LABOR PROJECT*

    The ALP is the flag-bearer for the social democratic ideal in
    Australia. According to some, it now confronts an identity crisis -
    unsure of what it stands for and the future of its link to the union
    movement. Our speaker will give a distinctly astringent take on this.

    *Rodney Cavalier*was a Minister in the Wran Government. He has
    written extensively about the ALP and its recent travails.

    Venue: Blackheath Community Centre, cnr Gardiner Crescent & Great
    Western Highway. Admission: $10 (includes tea & coffee).No need to
