[SydPhil] The Workgroup on Recognition goes Psychoanalytic, Saturday, January 26, 11.00am, The Duck Inn

The Workgroup on Recognition in Sydney is currently focusing on the theme of recognition and social and psychological pathologies. The next meeting is on Saturday, January 26, at 11am at the Duck Inn pub (74 Rose St in Chippendale).

The text to be discussed this time is Chapter 3 of Arne Johan Vetlesen's book Evil and Human Agency, discussing with C. Fred Alford's account of interpersonal evil.

Anyone interested in theories of recognition, or psychoanalysis, or both (both students and staff) is warmly welcome. If you are planning to attend, please let us know in advance for table reservations. If you know anyone else who might be interested, feel free to pass on the information.
