My MNL model looks like this: Nlogit ;lhs=choice ;choices= clinicA, clinicB ;model: U(clinicA) = cost*cost + wait*wait + cont*continui + cons*cons + opt*opt + loc*location/ U(clinicB) = cost*cost + wait*wait + cont*continui + cons*cons + opt*opt + loc*location $ However, the data that I produce has a row of unlabelled data. I am confused to what this is? +--------+--------------+----------------+--------+--------+ |Variable| Coefficient | Standard Error |b/St.Er.|P[|Z|>z]| +--------+--------------+----------------+--------+--------+ C100 | .26343501 .10268338 2.566 .0103 C250 | -.18940119 .09441678 -2.006 .0449 C400 | -.58364886 .09644228 -6.052 .0000 WAIT | -.00102889 .00046781 -2.199 .0279 CONT | .26841658 .03735185 7.186 .0000 CONS | 1.00242314 .07385255 13.573 .0000 OPT | -.92047887 .07134105 -12.903 .0000 LOC | .08453215 .03810984 2.218 .0265 * | .08823066 .06926298 1.274 .2027* I have also tried to add in an alpha, although this gives me fixed parameters for a lot of the other values which I am uncertain of why? Please help me shed light on what this unlabeled column of data is? Kind Regards T From faye.samuel at gmail.com Thu Jun 6 04:18:11 2019 From: faye.samuel at gmail.com (Samuel F. The command stores "missing" for both types of inefficiencies for all cross-section units in all time periods. I couldn't figure out why. Do you have any idea why this might the case? I get inefficiency estimates when I use the TFE or TRE with the same data. thanks Sam From jchapman at ud4h.com Thu Jun 13 01:05:11 2019 From: jchapman at ud4h.com (Jim Chapman) Date: Wed, 12 Jun 2019 11:05:11 -0400 Subject: [Limdep Nlogit List] Hiring for NLogit analysis Message-ID: We are exploring the possibility of having a contractor conduct some NLogit based analysis. We have a project with a federal agency to conduct analysis that will be used to enhance existing scenario planning tools. These tools are used by government agencies to conduct "what if" explorations of the impacts of changes in the transportation system and land use patterns. We plan to use a random parameter modeling approach to develop statistical models which investigate the association of the built, natural and social environment with person-level health-related outcomes. We are in need of someone to conduct this analysis. This work has a quick timeline, to be done by mid - July. If you are available, have the necessary NLogit skills and interested in hearing more please send me an email.
