I have tried importing a block of cells from Excel, following the
instructions in R12.6.2
Using the following format:
Read; Rows = 12; Cols = 12; Matrix = ProbM $
1 0.666667 0.4 0.285714 0.222222 0.181818 0.153846 0.133333

produces
Error 4: READ - error reading NREC (NOBS) or NREC was not given.
regardless of whether I just highlight the Read line or the Read line +
the matrix when entering the command.
If I omit the $ symbol (as in Figure R12.15), the matrix appears to be
read but does not appear in the table of matrix names.
I'd be grateful for any advice or guidance
