[GPlates software release announcements]

Dear GPlates community,

The GPlates Community Forum will be held on **2 February 2026**, alongside the Australian Earth Science Convention (AESC) in Melbourne and supported by AuScope.

The forum is designed as a two-way conversation, bringing together the GPlates community - including both long-time users and those not yet engaged - to help shape where the GPlates family of products (GPlates, pyGPlates, GPlately, GPlates Web Service and related tools) goes next.
