[Geodynamics] PyGPlates 1.0.0 released

Hi all,

We're pleased to announce the release of pyGPlates 1.0.0.

Note: This is the official 1.0.0 release. The last release (in December) was 1.0.0rc1 (a release candidate).


PyGPlates can now be installed using conda<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/FfZVCgZ0N1iYgByNjhNfZI4u4TF?domain=docs.conda.io> or pip<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/4bsHCjZ1N7iy6OmAwsRhYImTet9?domain=pip.pypa.io/>.  Please see the installation instructions<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/79b4Ck81N9tqLwB4RIQiNIGUIac?domain=gplates.org> in the pyGPlates documentation.

Note: The old method of manually installing pre-compiled binaries is no longer supported (that's now handled by conda and pip). But older versions of pyGPlates can still be found on the download<https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/sTItClx1Njiz9MEk3IqskIzm9rW?domain=gplates.org/> page.
