[Geodynamics] Geodynamica - vote for the name and the logo of your new diamond open-access journal!

Dear all, 

First of all, happy new year! We hope that 2024 will be full of new adventures and projects. On Geodynamica's side, this year will be a busy one, as we are actively setting everything up before the journal’s launch expected in Autumn this year. 

We thank all those of you who have expressed interest in the creation of a new peer-reviewed, community-led Diamond open-access journal called Geodynamica: Earth & Planets. We are thrilled to see the discussions and inputs from all of you to help to make this journal real!

Here is a short summary of the latest updates on our progress towards the launch of Geodynamica:

Thanks to your efforts and ideas, we are now finalizing the scope of the journal. It will soon be available on our website <https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/RF7ZCgZ0N1iq7kZYnCN9WQO?domain=geodynamica.org>. 

We have also received many great suggestions from the community to find an awesome logo for our Diamond Open Access Journal Geodynamica. Now it is up to you to vote for your favorite logo! Please tell us which draft logo you prefer before the 2nd February by using this link <https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/Q5f7CjZ1N7iYv9QykURPppR?domain=docs.google.com>.

It appeared from our conversations on Discord, that some of you would prefer to call the journal Geodynamica instead of Geodynamica: Earth & Planets. We would like to know what most of you think about the name of the journal, so we are waiting for you to vote for the journal’s name by using this link <https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/AaU6Ck81N9tkpNzqZiQcR9f?domain=docs.google.com> before the 2nd February.
