STELLAR is a collaboration between BHP and the EarthByte Group at the University of Sydney aimed at implementing big and complex spatio-temporal data analysis and modelling to support BHP?s global resource exploration. It will advance the integration and analysis of physical, chemical and dynamic properties of the Earth through geological time. This position is aimed at improving exploration for resources in a range of tectonic environments. This will involve compiling, synthesising and testing a range of geological and geophysical data. Teamwork is central to this role, as the deliverables are linked between all other project streams, requiring the successful applicant to demonstrate leadership and time-management skills in close collaboration with all project participants. In addition, this position will involve supervision of students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research assistants, as well as communication of results via a range of formats such as internal and external presentations and peer-reviewed publications. https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/8tI1C81V0PT69ZYDlHnRH9i?domain=earthworks-jobs.com DIETMAR M?LLER Professor of Geophysics EarthByte Group | School of Geosciences THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY T +61 2 9036 6533 Homepage | ResearchGate | Google Scholar -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
